Graphic Design: Madeline

Here's a vector piece I did in Adobe Illustrator CS4 of one of my dear friends, Madeline. She's beautiful and classy, and I think this piece captures those attributes well. Enjoy!

About Me

My name is Bradlee Roberts. I'm 18, and I'm in my first year of college! This is a blog about creativity; sewing, art, graphic design, photography crafting, fashion, jewelry-making, leather-stamping, thrifting, and making old things new. I always have ideas of projects I'm working on, so this is just a place I can share my "creations". I may even throw in a few DIY's :) It is quite difficult to craft/post while at college, but since I'm an art student, I may be posting some of my projects from this last semester!

The reason my title is "Logo Girl By Design" has a hidden meaning. While I do not know exactly where I'm going to college yet, I do know that I want to major in graphic design. For those of you who don't know exactly what I mean by that, graphic design encompasses logos, websites, signs, and any sort of advertisement. Logos are my favorite, which explains the "Logo Girl" part of my title.

However, "By Design", while it hints at graphic design, really refers to God - our Creator and Designer. I believe that Christ, God's perfect Son, died for my sins, and rose again 3 days later. I want to live my life to serve Him, and follow HIS will for my life, not my own. God has given me a gift in art (specifically in graphic design art) and I know that's what He designed me to be.
